2. Overview
This website provides information about our company and our services. It contains no contact form. Only if you consent do we use Google Analytics; this sets cookies and your usage data is processed by Google (see section 6). Without your consent, no analytics cookies are set and no data is transmitted to Google. We do not use advertising services. Fonts are loaded from our own server.
3. Hosting and server log files
Each time the website is accessed, the web server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser:
- IP address of the requesting device,
- date and time of access,
- page or file requested, amount of data transferred and HTTP status code,
- previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted,
- browser and operating system used (user agent).
This processing is necessary to deliver the website, to ensure its security and stability and to analyse errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. Log files are deleted once they are no longer required for these purposes, unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.
The website is hosted by UniMediaWorks Digital Media Agency on servers in Istanbul-Beyoğlu, Türkiye, a country outside the European Union.
4. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar.
5. Contacting us by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, contact details and the content of your enquiry) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is responding to enquiries.
For our email communication we use Google Workspace, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as a processor. A transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).
We delete your data once it is no longer required for handling your enquiry. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected. Business correspondence is generally retained for six years; other document types are subject to their applicable statutory retention periods.
6. Google Analytics and cookies
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use our website so that we can improve its content and structure.
Google processes in particular the following data: pages visited and time spent, date and time of the visit, referring website, approximate location (country or city level), device type, browser and operating system, and a pseudonymous identifier. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. For this purpose Google sets the cookies “_ga” and “_ga_<ID>” with a lifetime of up to two years. Event data is deleted in Google Analytics according to the retention period configured there (two months by default). We have disabled the advertising features of Google Analytics.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). Google Analytics is only loaded after you select “Accept” in the notice. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by opening “Cookie settings” in the footer and selecting “Decline”; the Google Analytics cookies are then deleted.
A transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
We store your choice in your browser's local storage (entry “mcpower_consent_v1”) so that the notice does not appear on every page. This storage is strictly necessary for the service you requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG); the entry contains only your choice.
7. Links to Google Maps
Our contact page links to Google Maps. No map is embedded; data is only transmitted to Google once you click the link and open Google's page. Google is responsible for the processing there; Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
